If your organization would like to access the message board, you will require a username and password to gain access. If you are a member of a community organization within the RM of Woodlands, and do not yet have a username and password, please email us and we'll be sure to provide you with one.
Connect with Community Volunteers
The Municipality is home to over 40 volunteer community organizations that deliver important services and programming to our area.
The Municipality would like to assist in promoting these organizations and encouraging the groups to network and collaborate. In an effort to facilitate communication, a Community Organization Member Forum has been developed to provide our community volunteers with a convenient way of communicating and contacting one another.
Benefit Examples
An example of the benefit of this board is for groups planning events. Questions can be put forward to determine who may have equipment (tables and chairs to rent) in the area or, if there are already similar events happening and when so they could be coordinated. The Municipality will also be using this board to post new information about training or funding programs that may benefit the community organizations. Users are encouraged to check into the message board regularly for information updates.
A Community Calendar
Community members are also encouraged to submit their community events to the Municipality for posting on the Events Calendar. This also provides organizations hosting events to tell the community if they are looking for volunteers to assist with the event. Event information including name of the event and brief description, date/time, location and contact information (email/phone number) should be provided when you contact us.
